Your journey begins with a hotel pick-up by our experienced guide, who will take you to the National Egyptian Museum, one of the world's most renowned museums for ancient Egyptian artifacts. Here, you'll explore a vast collection of masterpieces spanning thousands of years of Egyptian history. The museum is especially famous for its exquisite display of Tutankhamun's treasures, including his golden death mask, one of the most iconic symbols of ancient Egypt, along with his ornate coffin and other priceless artifacts from his tomb.
After about 30 minutes for a short break, the tour continues with a visit to the Citadel of Saladin, a medieval Islamic site perched on a hill that offers stunning views of Cairo. The Citadel, built by the great Muslim general Saladin, is home to the majestic Mosque of Muhammad Ali, often referred to as the "Alabaster Mosque" due to its white stone exterior. This historical site combines architectural beauty with rich history, making it an essential part of any visit to Cairo.
